OFFICER INSTALLATION
2008-2009
Council 1044’s Officer Installation Ceremony will be on 17 Aug 08. The ceremony will be held at Raymies's restaurant located in the Enid Ramada Inn motel on OK Garriott Rd.. Social hour begins at 5:30 with dinner at 6:30. The ceremony will commence immediately after dinner. All Knights are invited to attend. Come out, enjoy a good meal, congratulate and thank all those who have stepped up to serve our council.
CHANCE TO WIN $1000!!
The Oklahoma Blood Institute is sponsoring a blood drive with a twist. If 10 members of any organization donate blood, that organization has a chance of winning $1000. Donations must be made on 31 Jul 08 at the Cherokee Strip Conference Center. Donations will be taken from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. This is a great way to help those in need and perhaps also help the council financially. Take a few minutes and stop by the Cherokee Strip Conference Center on 31 Jul and tell them you are from the Knights of Columbus. Points are also awarded to cash in for individual awards as well. WIDOW’S NIGHT OUT

John L Espoir is busy planning the Widow’s Night Out event for 2008. This annual marquee Council 1044 event is scheduled for 5 Sep 08. Stand by for upcoming information from John.
4TH DEGREE ANNUAL PICNIC
The 4th Degree Annual Picnic will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Al Patocka’s residence at 1806 S. Oakwood Road. All 4th Degree Knights are invited to attend. Please invite all prospective 4th Degree candidates and their spouses to attend as well. Please bring one salad dish OR vegetable dish AND one dessert for all to enjoy. The Assembly will furnish the meat entry and drinks. Social hour will begin at 5:00 PM with dinner at 6:30 PM. RSVP to Al Patocka at 237-4416.
